Pandeglang is a town in the province of Banten, in the Western Java region of Indonesia.

central square
The central town square of Pandeglang. It is one of the largest and most beautiful city squares in the province. The square features extensive grass fields, play areas for children, a lot of streetfood stalls, and a statue of a Javan rhinoceros. The Ujung Kulon National Park, in the regency of Pandeglang, is the only place where this endangered species can still be found.

Well-known restaurant and bakery with a wide range of Indonesian dishes. The specialty is gurame goreng cobek, or fried giant gourami fish with chili peppers.

By bus
As the railway to Pandeglang is no longer operated, the only way to get to the town by public transport is by bus.
There are various angkot (public minivan) routes in the town of Pandeglang, as well as to the surrounding towns and villages. It is also possible to hire an ojek (motorcycle taxi).
