Indramayu is a city and regency in the North Coast region of Western Java in Indonesia.

Pantai Karangsong
The nearest beach to Indramayu city. Many fishermen bring their fish and shrimp to the shore here. There is also a mangrove forest, that can be reached easily from the beach by joining the boat of a fisherman.
Pantai Tirtamaya
This beach, about 15 km from the city, is popular among locals.
Pulau Biawak / Pulau Rakit
The very small Biawak island is about 40 km off the coast of Indramayu. In Indonesian, biawak means monitor lizard, as this animal can be found on the island. The island is a good destination for its beaches and snorkling. There is also a 65 metres high lighthouse built by the Dutch during the colonial time, in 1872.
A variety of fish and seafood dishes, as well as Indonesian classics such as nasi goreng fried rice.

By train
There is no railway station in the city of Indramayu, but the main Jakarta-Cirebon railway runs through the regency, about 16 km south of the city.
By bus
There are several bus terminals in the regency of Indramayu. The main terminal in the city is Indramayu bus terminal on the eastern side of town.
