Malethirike is a semi-spherical hill in the very middle of the town. You will have a terrific view on top of the hill. There are two Hindu temples and one Christian church.
The inviting smell of coffee will excite you.
Good place for snacks like vada, and pakkuvada. Good coffee also.
₹170 for lunch with fish curry. This restaurant has many private rooms accommodating eight people each.

Autorickshaws charge ₹20 for km. and buses are much cheaper. Air-conditioned taxis are also available at ₹1,000 for one day's use.
