Pulpally is a small town in Wayanad district of Kerala state, India, between Sultan Battery and Mananthavady towns.

The forest road between Pupally and Suthan Bathery (aka Sultan's Battery) is very scenic.
If you can go to Kabanigiri village by bus you can cross the river and reach the Karnataka village of Machur. From there you can travel to other nearby towns like Mananthavady or H.D.Kote.
A beautiful yellow temple on the campus of a yellow colored post graduate college.
It is situated in Kappikkunnu, 5 kms away from Pulpally town. This temple is surrounded by forest and it is believed that this temple is 2, 500 years old. The shrine is round in shape. The main idols are Siva and Parvathy, Ganesa, Ayyappa and the forest goddess (Vanadurga) are also worshipped here. The serene and calm atmosphere of this temple attracts many people to this site.
