The annual festival called Mondaikadu Kodai is celebrated in March for 10 days and is the main attraction of this place.
It is 16 km from Nagercoil and 32 km from Kanniyakumari. The seashore looks majestic and rugged because of the huge beautiful rocks jutting out into the sea. The waves touch the rocks and create a mystic atmosphere. The district administration developed basic infrastructure facilities.
