Dungarpur is a city in the southernmost part of Udaipur Division, Rajasthan, India.

Old Palace
A former royal residence on the foothill. Accessed by narrow crowded road up the hill. Early Rajput fort palace built from 13th to 19th century by different rulers. It has seven floors decorated with local green stone called pareva, murals, frescoes, mirror and glass inlays. The palace is fortified and represent the evolution of architecture, art and construction from 13th to 19th century. Poorly maintained but worth a visit. Buy tickets at Udai Bilas Palace and then go here.
A pleasure palace built on the bank of Gaip Sagar Lake. Now converted into small museum of royal items and stone sculptures.

Autorickshaws are the other main local mode of transport. Shuttles are available for transport in the city. Taxis are available near Gaip Sagar Lake. Private vehicle is the most convenient option.
