Imposing temple.
Palace built entirely of stone and brick by Raja Bir Singh Deo in 1614 considered to be one of the finest examples of Bundela architecture in the country. It rises over seven storeys (five visible externally); has four corner towers, each topped with decorative chhatris (domed pavilions); showcases intricate ceilings with floral and geometric carvings; symmetrical courtyards; and overlooks a tranquil lake. Within the palace are some fine wall paintings of the Bundela school.
