Cooch Behar (কোচবিহার Kōchbihār), a small city in northern West Bengal in India, is known for its rich cultural heritage and the remnants of its royal heritage. Being one of the main tourist destinations of West Bengal, housing the Cooch Behar Palace and Madan Mohan Temple, it has been declared a heritage town.
Baneswar (বানেশ্বর Bāneshwor) is a town in Cooch Behar, North Bengal.
Dinhata (দিনহাটা Dinhāṭā), a town in North Bengal, is famous for the historical Gosanimari (গোসানিমারি Gosānimāri), which was the capital of Kamata and Khen dynasties.
Haldibari (হলদিবাড়ি Holdibāṛi) in Cooch Behar is the last station of North Bengal in West Bengal.
Mekhliganj or Mekliganj (মেখলিগঞ্জ Mekhligonj) is a town in Cooch Behar, home to a famous tea-estate. The ceremonial border closing at Tin Bigha Checkpost between India and Bangladesh is a great sight to view.
Tufanganj (Bengali and Rajbanshi: তুফানগঞ্জ Tuphāngonj) is a town in the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal.
Rasikbil (Bengali: রসিকবিল), a lake in North Bengal, is popular among birdwatchers for migratory birds. There's an aquarium, deer park and a gharial rehabilitation centre as well.
