It is an artistic, cultural and historical museum cum cultural complex. It houses ancient potteries, antique coins, old manuscripts, paintings, basketries, bell metals, jewelries, wood carvings, replicas of the houses and the doll representations of Meitei ethnicity as well as the 34 recognised tribesmen communities of Manipur.
