Anantnag is a city in India, and the second largest city in the Kashmir Valley. Its district headquarters has the largest number of tourist spots in the Kashmir valley.

This Kashmiri Hindu temple is an important and protected archeological site. The ruins remain impressive with its decorations and construction.
With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, and paint-box-bright flowerbeds, they are most charming for tourists. Some of the Gardens of this District and City are: Achabal, Kokernag, Verinag, Sherbag, Daksum, Pahalgam and more.
By bus
Usually it takes around a half a day to reach here from Jammu. J&K State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) operates fairly comfortable buses from Jammu costing around ₹350.
By taxi
