The longest footbridge in Central Europe (built in 2009–10) connects the city center (Tiszai hajósok tere) with the Tiszaliget where the lido and other sport facilities are found. The bridge resembles a mayfly (hence the name). It was built with the intention to create a new symbol for the city.
