  The area of it is 6470 m². It was built between 1962 according to plans by Mihaly Mőcsényi. Later a fountain and a monument built here by Vera Csorba. In 1994 inaugurated the monument of Independence. In the middle of the fountain, a work of György Vadász and Sandor Kiss. The yews (Taxaceae), the Sorbus, China trees (Koelreuteria paniculata) are beautiful decorations in the park
