The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian dominates the skyline of Patmos, its fortress-like walls a reminder of centuries of devotion and defense. Inside, richly decorated chapels, frescoes, and a remarkable library reveal its spiritual and cultural significance
Psili Ammos Beach is widely regarded as the finest sandy beach on Patmos, prized for its soft golden sand and clear, shallow waters. Accessible by boat or a scenic hike, it feels more secluded than other beaches on the island. The setting is unspoiled and natural, with rolling dunes and minimal development. A small seasonal taverna provides simple meals and drinks.
