A medieval fortification at the end of the headland in town. The castle occupies the whole area of the cape and the southwestern coast to the small islet that has also been fortified with an octagonal tower and is protected by the sea on its three sides.
A sand beach with water that stays shallow quite a way out. The water is quite clear. There are a few sun beds with umbrellas, owned by one of the cafes, on the nearby square, but these don't take up much room. Nice views of the castle and the islands across the bay.
Nice restaurant near the beach with many fish dishes and nice takes on class Greek dishes. Good prices and very friendly owner.
Cafe / bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and coffee. There's a nice covered seating area.
Cafe serving coffee and a selection of breakfasts.
Good sized flats right next to the beach with well equipped kitchen, TV, decent internet.
