A small but worthwhile museum with finds from southern Evia, including classical and Roman artefacts.
A powerful 13th-century Frankish fortress built by Ravano dalle Carceri. Despite its name, it is constructed from grey-yellow stone and occupies a naturally defensive site with dramatic views over the bay. Substantial ruins of the inner enclosure, walls, and later additions still survive.
A longer, wilder stretch, good for a quieter experience.
