Savelugu is a town in the Volta Basin of Ghana. It is the capital of Savelugu Municipal, with a population of 122,888 (2021).

It is the royal palace of the chief of Savelugu. It is a gate skin to the Yani namship in Yendi.

Northen Capital Hotel is one of the best hotels and it's a nice place for everyone to patronise. The place is quite peaceful and safe. They have both continental and local dishes and their food is very delicious. I will not forget about their rice with goat meat( light soup ) on Sundays.
