13th century North German red brick Gothic style
A Bronze Age archaeological site at the northern edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The battle fought here in the 13th century BC probably involved thousands of warriors, with about 750–1,000 dead.
A museum depicting what Slavs living in the area may have lived like. There is also an information centre near the village, the high medieval building complex "Castrum Turglowe" next to the club's hostel in Torgelow, and a shipyard for the construction of a cog in Ueckermünde.
