Between April and October there is a ferry service to the island (cash payment only). It departs from Vieux port every hour from 10.00 to 17.00, excluding 13.00. The journey takes about 15 minutes.

It is a municipal park and botanical garden. The park is listed among the Notable Gardens of France. There are also some nice trails leading to calanques (characteristic coves) — well worth exploring. Just outside of it lies Anse du Petit Mugel, a famous snorkelling and diving spot.
