A canoeing route from Suomenniemi around the largest lake, Kuolimo. There are lean-to shelters and trails to a few sights. The main part of Kuolimo is off Savitaipale. Connections to Suomijärvi across the Suomenniemi Peninsula, and to Saimaa by a 200–300 m portage at Kärnäkoski or by Orraintaival.
