Kuortane is a municipality of Southern Ostrobothnia, 40 km from Seinäjoki.

Kuortaneen urheiluopisto
the biggest sport hall in the Area and awarded in 2012 as the best Sport Institute of Finland. It is located on highway 66 in Southern Ostrobothnia in Western Finland. It is right next to Lake Kuortane, which provides a magnificent view from many different areas of the facilities.
Kuortane has direct buses from Seinäjoki, Tampere and Kokkola. Osmo Aho route Pohjanmaan pikavuoro between Tampere and Kokkola stops at Kuortane, its tickets are sold at Onnibus web site.
