A historical industrial area from the 19th century. There are several associated museums, but visiting hours outside the peak summer season are very limited.
Karkkilan kirkko
A wooden church from 1781, painted a striking red. Take a peek at the graveyard surrounding it on all four sides: many older graves are marked with solid iron crosses forged at the ironworks.
