You can also follow the old road between Øravík and Hov, the old road starts just before the tunnel to Hov. There is a place called Tjaldavík, this is where people stayed in tents when there was Thing (court) Uppi millum Stovur above Øravík. Just outside the bay of Tjaldavík there is an islet which is called Tjaldavíkshólmur.
