Experience the nature around the small Lundø peninsula. Visit the Lundø Tårnet tower for local information, hike the beach meadows and stony reefs, stay overnight at Lundø Strand Camping or one of the primitive shelters in the area, and dine at Restaurant Øhaven in Lundø village. Lundø is a notable bird site with shallow beaches and good water quality. It is most interesting at low tide when the reefs are exposed, and if in luck, you can find amber here or spot seals. Enjoy the resting seals, but keep a good distance! The beaches are sometimes popular with coast-fishers looking for trout at some spots, and in the summer, holidaymakers and windsurfers flocks here. There are several parking lots in the area and a public toilet at the northern spit.
