Tomb of emperor Wan Li's Brother Lu Wang. This is nearly an exact duplicate of one of the Ming dynasty tombs located outside of Beijing. Close examination reveals a change in the dragon designs so that there are two instead of one in the stone working. Lu Wang desired to be the emperor so much that he tried copying much of the architecture found in Beijing at the time. Thirteen sets of animals line the entrance to the tomb, some mythical, and some real. There was some damage during the cultural revolution, and not all of the structure has been restored to its original state.

Xinxiang's largest annual folk culture event, held on the Lantern Festival. The 2026 edition featured over 15 intangible cultural heritage performances including the Huoshen Drum, Henan Zhuizi, Dapingdiao, and Huai Bang martial arts. County-level activities run simultaneously across Xinxiang, including Long Shi (dragon and lion) dances in Weihui, traditional lantern displays in Changyuan, and the 400-year-old Xiaoji Beizhuang (背粧) performance in Xinxiang County.
牧野公园
A popular city park in Xinxiang, known for its greenery and walking paths. It is a good spot for a relaxing stroll, with a lake and open areas for families and locals. Free entry and convenient bus access.
市政广场
A square for residential sports activities. If you like throwing frisbee sport, this is the best place for you. This square was built by the government organization, which provides people with oversized activity sites. Here you can dance with your aunties. You can also fly kites. You can also play tai chi with the uncles. Of course, any sports activities that won't hurt others can be done here.
新乡市博物馆, 平原博物院 Pingyuan Museum
A comprehensive museum with over 30,000 cultural relics, especially strong in Shang and Zhou bronzes and Ming and Qing paintings. Its main exhibition traces the history of the Xinxiang region. Free entry with ID.

回龙天界山景区
A 4A-level scenic area in the southern Taihang Mountains, part of the Wanxian Mountain complex. It is famous for the Huilong Cliff-Hanging Road (a tunnel carved by hand through the cliff) and the 360-degree cliff walkway. Key sights include the Dragon Chant Gorge with its pools and waterfalls, and Laoyeding Peak (1,570m), known as the "Iron Summit" of Taoism. It is also the site associated with national model worker Zhang Rongsuo.
