Luzhou (泸州 Lúzhōu) is a city in East Sichuan. Known for its long history, rich culture, and famous liquor industry, Luzhou sits at the confluence of the Yangtze and Tuo Rivers. It is often referred to as the "Liquor City" because it is home to one of China’s most renowned baijiu distilleries, Luzhou Laojiao. The city offers visitors a mix of natural beauty, ancient history, and the modern charm of China's growing economy. As of the end of December 2022, the city has 3 urban districts and 4 counties, and the population is 5 million.

金凤寺
The temple sits south to north, is a central axis symmetrical courtyard-style building, composed of the main hall and the left and right wing, the existing first hall and the left wing. The main hall is 15.9 meters long, 11.6 meters wide and 6.85 meters high. The first hall is a heavy eaves resting on the top of the mountain, with a mixed beam frame with 36 fighting arches and six citron houses under the eaves. Luzhou is famous for its longan orchards, and fresh longans are widely available when in season. You can also buy dried longans, which are popular for their sweet flavor.
