Luanchuan County (栾川县) is a county under the jurisdiction of Luoyang, Henan Province, China. It is located in west Henan and is a place full of historical culture and natural scenery.

鸡冠洞
Jiguan Cave is located three kilometers west of Luanchuan County, Luoyang, Henan Province. It is a natural limestone karst cave, geologically known as the "karst landform".
Jingshi Mountain
Laojun Mountain, formerly known as Jingshi Mountain, is the main peak of Funiu Mountain, which is located 1300 km away from the Qinling Mountains, with an elevation of approximately 2200 meters. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, Li Er returned to seclusion and practiced here due to his "history of guarding the treasury". He was revered by Taoism as the Tai Shang Lao Jun, and was named "Lao Jun Mountain" by Emperor Taizong of Tang, which has been passed down to this day. Laojun Mountain has a history of over 2000 years of Taoist culture. During the Northern Wei Dynasty, a temple was built in the mountain to commemorate it. During the Tang Zhenguan period, it was granted the title of "Tieding Laojun Temple" by the emperor. In the 19th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, the Daojing edict was issued to Laojun Mountain and it was designated as "a famous mountain in the world".
养子沟
Yangzigou is a comprehensive tourist resort that integrates natural scenery, historical culture, and entertainment and leisure. Yangzigou is located 5 kilometers east of Luanchuan County. It is a scenic spot on the main peak of Mount Funiu, Laojun Mountain. The Yangzi Valley is named after the Tang Dynasty hero Fan Lihua who lived here and adopted his son, leaving behind many historical relics and legendary stories.
There are not only natural landscapes such as waterfalls, streams, and strange stones here, but also ancient cave temples, folk festivals, and other cultural landscapes. There are also many tourist facilities and activities, such as rafting, rock climbing, camping, etc.
抱犊寨
Baoduzhai Scenic Area is located in Sanchuan Town, Luanchuan County, 186 kilometers away from Luoyang City. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction that blends natural and cultural landscapes. The scenic area is mainly composed of four major viewing areas: Baodu Ancient Village, Wangniuling, Huoshen Temple, and Baolongwan Water Park.

This temple fair comes from Laozi’s seclusion in Mount Laojun and the Taoist culture of Mount Laojun. The environment is relatively good in a small county like Luanchuan, and it's very cool in the summer when the air conditioner is on. If you go late, you can only sit outside the door, but fortunately, Luanchuan is closer to the mountain and it is cooler, so the overall environment is not bad.
