A ruined 19th-century historical stone fort constructed by the Rana dynasty along the river border. It sits immediately adjacent to the modern customs post.
Rasuwa Fort, also known as Rasuwa Gadhi or Rasuwagadhi (रसुवागढी), is a historic fortification at Rasuwagadhi in Rasuwa District, Nepal, beside the border with the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It stands near the confluence of the Lhende Khola and Kerung Khola, whose combined flow is known on the Nepalese side as the Bhote Koshi, part of the Trishuli River, within Langtang National Park. The Gyirong–Rasuwagadhi border crossing and the site of the Miteri Bridge are immediately beside the fort.
