Autonomous prefecture in Sichuan, China

Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, (甘孜藏族自治州), also known as Garzê in Tibetan, is located in western Sichuan Province, China. It is set amongst the scenic high alpine mountains of the province and it is historically part of the Tibetan region of Kham making the area interesting for both culture and landscape. Ganzi (Garze) and Kangding (Dardo) are its largest cities.
Bus service leaves from Chengdu. Major hubs are Kangding and Garze/Ganzi. There is an airport serving Kangding that lies about halfway between Kangding and Tagong.

Seda or Sêrtar 色达县 is a remote county of Ganzi prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. It is one of the 18 counties under the administration of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
Tagong is a small town in the Tibetan prefecture of Ganzi.
Xiangcheng (乡城; Xiāng chéng - Tibetan: Chaktreng), is in Sichuan Province in south-west China. It also belongs to the ancient Tibetan province of Kham.
Yajiang is a modern town of under 10,000 people set in a steep valley along the southern Tibet-Sichuan highway (G318) in Ganzi in Sichuan, at an altitude of roughly 2,900 meters. It consists mainly of one long street (Jiefang Jie), with a large square in the town center and several busy side streets adjoining.
Labahe Nature Reserve is in the Ganzi Prefecture of Sichuan, west of Ya'an.
Yading (Chinese: 亚丁) is in Sichuan, China. This contains the National Nature Reserve of China (亞丁國家級自然保護區菅理局宣) known under the same name, and 1 Yading village at 4,000 m (13,000 ft).
