Camocim is a beach town in western Ceará. Parts of its more glorious past as an agriculture export port can be felt if walking in the area near the former train station. This era came to a halt when the river changed its course, and ships could no longer pass its mouth. Today it's a genuine Cearense fishing town.
Nice view, good seafood, good beach just below.
Cheap food, family atmosphere
