Église Saint-Martin, Sint-Martinuskerk
Built in Gothic style in the 17th century, it preserves in the basement of the tower the remains of the Romanesque church dating back to 1100. It contains a famous oil painting on panel by Anthony van Dyck: Saint Martin Sharing his Cloak; Executed in 1618, this work is prior to the commission carried out between 1620 and 1621 for the crown of England and today preserved in the Royal Collection.
The park was inaugurated on March 22, 2017, exactly one year after the terrorist attack at the airport. At its center is the sculpture Flight in Mind by Olivier Strebelle, which has been in the departure hall since 1995. Severely damaged by the first of the two explosions, it was repaired, leaving the scars visible, and replaced here.
Église Saint-Pancrasse, Sint-Pancratiuskerk
Rebuilt at the end of the 19th century in neo-Romanesque style, only the 12th century Romanesque tower remains of the original sanctuary. In the church there is an early painting (around 1623) by Nicolas Poussin: The Death of Mary.
