The tallest hill in the city of Chittagong is about 280 feet high. From its summit, the Bay of Bengal and large parts of Chittagong city can be clearly seen. During World War II, anti-aircraft guns were placed on top of the hill. Many years ago there was a lighthouse on the hill to guide ships sailing on distant seas. It is a good place to see the city from above.
