Perchtoldsdorf is in Lower Austria. It is a small town south of Vienna on the eastern fringes of the Vienna Woods (Wienerwald), best known for its wine.
The main train station is a fair distance east of the city center. If you are using public transportation to arrive from Vienna, it is recommended to take the S-Bahn S1 or S2 to Liesing, and then transfer to Bus 256.
