Local centre for music concerts and theatre. The Centre holds regular events with a wide diversity of performances in its 1000-seat auditorium. There is also a cafe that runs M-F 9AM-5PM. Also has an ice-rink during summer.
Features an interesting and well-presented collection which includes examples of almost all of the aircraft to have been operated by the Royal Australian Navy, including those which flew from its aircraft carriers. There is a cafe on site with a balcony overlooking the airfield, but it has a pretty limited menu.
Has more than a hundred species of wildlife, both native and exotic. Takes around a couple of hours to see them all, though you can hang around for a little longer if you have kids, who will want to and pat the farm animals.
