Cooinbil Homestead

Coolamine Homestead features some historic buildings built in the 19th century, where you can learn about how life was here in the 19th century, in a remote, rural desolate spot. There are also some old newspapers here as well, well preserved.

Learn about the wildlife of the Australian Alps, along with its geography and the indigenous heritage of the park. The education centre includes some hands-on displays along with some interactive programs. Rather strangely, the education centre also has a section about Bhutan's environment and its mountainous geography.
