Small fortification at the edge of town.
A rarely visited monastery overlooking Lake Sevan. It's a 9th- to 12th-century complex with church, chapel and "gavit" or entrance hall, surrounded by many "khachkars" - elaborately carved gravestones. Nearby are remains of a Bronze Age settlement.
